BotFrame never needs your normal Discord account password. A bot token is still a highly sensitive credential: provide it only through the protected connection flow and rotate it immediately if it is exposed.

Discord bot hosting FAQ
Does my computer need to stay online?
No. After you publish the workflow, BotFrame hosts your bot and keeps it online within your plan limits.
Can I edit without immediately changing the live bot?
Yes. Draft changes stay separate from the published version until you test and publish them.
What happens if I remove or invalidate the token?
The bot stops when its token is removed or known to be invalid. You can connect a replacement token when you are ready.
Can I add custom code?
Not currently. BotFrame workflows use the triggers, decisions, and actions available in the visual editor.
