Refund Policy
This policy explains cancellations and refund requests for paid BotFrame access purchased through Paddle.
1. Paddle is the seller and Merchant of Record
Paid BotFrame orders are sold by Paddle.com as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the payment transaction, applicable transaction taxes, payment-related buyer support, cancellations, chargebacks, and issuing approved refunds. The Supplier fulfils access to the underlying BotFrame product.
This policy does not create refund rights in addition to rights provided by Paddle’s applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy or mandatory consumer law. If those sources provide greater non-waivable rights, those rights apply.
2. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel a paid BotFrame subscription using the Paddle buyer portal or another cancellation method Paddle provides. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and prevents a later renewal.
Cancellation does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund, partial refund, credit, or cash value for the current billing period. Unless Paddle, applicable law, or an express written offer provides otherwise, there are no pro-rata refunds for unused time, unused bots, unused AI allocations, unused execution capacity, inactivity, failure to deploy, or failure to use purchased features.
3. General refund position
Except where required by applicable law or granted by Paddle under its then-current rules, transactions for paid BotFrame access are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Paddle may grant or refuse discretionary refunds under its own policies and contractual rights as seller.
A refund request does not guarantee approval. Neither prior refunds nor support communications create an entitlement to a refund for a later transaction.
4. Circumstances that do not automatically create refund rights
Without limiting mandatory consumer rights, the following do not automatically entitle you to a refund or credit:
- changing your mind, forgetting to cancel, accidental renewal, or no longer needing the Service;
- unused subscription time, capacity, AI usage, bot slots, server scope, or other allowances;
- temporary maintenance, queued workloads, capacity controls, rate limits, or short service interruptions;
- Discord outages, API changes, platform rate limits, server or bot bans, permission changes, account actions, or other third-party events;
- customer configuration errors, unsupported workflows, invalid credentials, revoked tokens, insufficient Discord permissions, or failure to follow documentation;
- AI-generated material being inaccurate, incomplete, non-unique, unsuitable, or requiring revision;
- enforcement of disclosed plan limits, abuse controls, fair-use restrictions, security measures, or acceptable-use rules;
- features changing or experimental functionality being modified or withdrawn, except where applicable law provides a remedy; or
- data becoming inaccessible or being deleted after a downgrade, refund, expiry, suspension, or termination in accordance with the Terms of Service.
5. Material product problems
If you believe a material defect prevents the paid BotFrame product from substantially performing as described, you may contact [email protected] with enough information for the issue to be assessed. We may investigate, request diagnostic information, offer a workaround, modify the Service, or communicate relevant information to Paddle.
Providing support, investigating an issue, or offering a workaround is not an admission that the Product is defective and does not itself create a refund entitlement. Refund decisions remain subject to Paddle’s rights as seller, the applicable transaction terms, and mandatory law.
6. How to request a refund
Refund requests for Paddle transactions should be submitted through the receipt, subscription-management route, or buyer-support method Paddle provides, including Paddle buyer support. The Supplier does not send payment refunds directly to Buyers for Paddle-processed transactions.
If a request depends on an alleged BotFrame technical issue, you may also contact [email protected]. We may provide information to Paddle relevant to the request, including account status, entitlement state, usage records, security events, or technical findings where appropriate and lawful.
7. Effect of refund, reversal, or chargeback
If a transaction is refunded, reversed, charged back, disputed, or otherwise ceases to support a paid entitlement, the corresponding BotFrame access may end immediately or at the time determined by Paddle or our entitlement systems.
Projects, deployments, revisions, simulator data, configuration, logs, or other content that exceed the resulting entitlement may be stopped, restricted, made inaccessible, archived, or deleted. A refund does not create a right to continued paid features, continued data retention, migration assistance, or export.
8. Duplicate, unauthorised, fraudulent, or abusive claims
If you believe a charge is duplicated or unauthorised, contact Paddle promptly. Paddle may investigate payment disputes under its own procedures.
We may suspend or restrict BotFrame access where we reasonably suspect payment fraud, refund abuse, chargeback abuse, account compromise, or manipulation of billing or entitlement systems. Nothing in this section limits lawful rights to dispute genuinely unauthorised or incorrect charges.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to BotFrame, Paddle’s transaction rules, or applicable law. The version relevant to a transaction will be considered together with Paddle’s terms governing that transaction and any mandatory rights that apply.
